Caretaking:
We must caretake one another. Our programming believes in creating opportunities for children and adults in the Lower 9th Ward and New Orleans who face some sort of social and economic disadvantages. Our solo and team shared residency programs and workshops offer a fair and balanced support system, ensuring that these communities have access to enriching experiences and resources. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and cultural engagement, we aim to level the playing field and empower individuals to thrive and contribute to the vibrant culture of New Orleans.
The Recycle Challenge programming and workshops directly benefit the children, youth, and community we serve. We believe that those who are more fortunate can assist, and for those who are not, we provide a fair and balanced experience sponsored by visiting artists who work with us. To create a just and fair world, we must do our part. Fees and residency fees provide scholarships to those who are less fortunate, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage and grow.
