ATTEND EARTH DAY PARADE with THE RECYCLE CHALLENGE KREWE
To honor Earth Day and Recycling .. join our various krewes showcasing wearable art with a “green” theme. April 21, 2023, 5 pm to 9 pm, the sidewalk procession starts at 6 pm from Beanlandia to JAMNOLA and finishes at St. Roch Market. The recycling stories of ten dresses come alive!

SIDEWALK PROCESSION: JAMNOLA 2832 Royal St, New Orleans, LA (Royal to Frankllin Street, right to St. Claude Avenue, left to St. Roch Market, to gated area.
This is a family-friendly event. So, simply bring your lawn chair and you are in. No tents, ladders or etc. The Recycle Challenge starts with a sidewalk procession in the Bywater area of New Orleans. This event will have krewe memch Market. bers of queens, walking to St. Roch Market! All wearing costumes, suits, and clothing made of recycled material, demonstrating how some trash can be reused and re-purposed. By the time the parade reaches St. Roch Market a new experience of a performance parade.
PARADE THROWS
Many of our "throws" and “give” are hand-made by our local artists and youth from area non-profits.
No one will ever know what's in a "give". A paradegoer could receive gifts ranging from recycled sandals, jewelry, accessories, money, and free tickets. Our handmade “gives” come from the heart, for when you receive a "give" it's something you can use, wear or enjoy.
Everything features recycling, organic, natural, or a good-for-you theme.
