5 PM - 5:30 PM Featured Dining with St. Roch Market Food Vendors: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM This event is raising awareness and funding for the non-profit with fiscal agent CCI for Literacy Project International aka Whose Magazine? A Youth Publication. The nonprofit receives a percentage of all meals prepared by St. Roch’s Market food vendors through THE ROCH THE CAUSE campaign. FEATURED DISCUSSIONS: Linear Economy vs Circular Economy Understanding Sustainability Fast Fashion vs Slow Fashion Learn more about Repurposed, Recycled, Upcycled, and Sustainable fashion. Expect a fun-filled evening when you walk away you will have more insight into sustainable fashion. This experience will be presented on Zoom as well. Join host Madera E. Rogers-Henry and her eco-brand of MERELYME.CO Several selected items will be modeled from the reversible clothing line, paper & fiber jewelry, and accessories. *Informal Fashion Show featuring ten plus paper hats as part of The Recycle Challenge accepted to hand-craft hats by The Milliners Association of Nigeria. This report provides how our two projects collaborated to minimize trash from going to landfills. *Informal Fashion Presentation of selected pieces from our wearable art and costume collections utilizing paper to plastic. *Models presenting the newest collection of sustainable purses from djimi-djama. Meet online Founder, Fatou Doumbia who has created a sewing cooperative with the women from various areas of Mali. These women handle the making of each purse.
