About the event

Bryan Keith Allen was born and raised in the heart of Southwest Louisiana in the small town of Eunice, La. On March 15, 1985, Delores Lartigue and Louis Allen Jr. brought into this world the musician that would eventually be known as just “Bryan Keith”. His dad, a local disc jockey, introduced his son to music at a very young age, which is where his love for zydeco began.

At age 6, he picked up his first rub board and was able to play alongside Mr. Willis Prudhome. Around age 11, he fell in love with the guitar. Using what he taught himself and the tips he learned from many musicians before him, he was able to take his guitar playing skills on the road.  At age 17, Bryan began to perform with T Broussard.  Part of his zydeco music career involved touring around the world with the band.

In 2011, Bryan decided to embark on a new adventure by becoming the voice behind the mic.  He started his own band called Bryan Keith and Zydeco Legacy.
